One Torus Management Development Programme

04 March 2024

The Torus Group proudly celebrated more than 180 of its managers awarded the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Certificate as part of the One Torus Management Development Programme.

This programme is a bespoke one-year series of interactive training workshops and was co-created with The Learning Foundry. It was designed to provide managers with the tools and techniques to thrive as a manager and support colleagues by leading, developing, motivating and inspiring inclusion as one team Torus across the Group.

Debbie Attwood, Group People Director said:

"Congratulations to everyone who achieved their ILM certificates. This is the first programme of this size and scale for the Group and training plays a critical part in building our organisation culture. It was a big investment, both from Torus and the time, energy and effort our managers have put into the programme alongside their current role.

"We’re thrilled to see the positive feedback and the impact the programme has had, with managers putting their new found skills and knowledge into practice."

Jo Brown, Learning and Development Business Partner commented:

"We are working hard to review our learning and development offer for 2024 across the Group. We look forward to supporting our colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge to support each other, our customers and communities."

Steve Blackburn Head of Commercial at The Learning Foundry said:

"The commitment of Torus Managers throughout the programme shone through and the culture of learning within Torus made this programme a joy for us to be a part of and deliver. It has been a real partnership and we congratulate Torus Managers on achieving their ILM certificate."
